cluster questions
i have a 97 ek sedan and is buying a 98 cluster off a friend of mine. i was jsut wondering if theres any diy cluster swaps in these forums cuz i havest seen any or does any1 have write ups on how to do it to toher civics?
To swap cluster:
1. Remove the top two screws on the dash bezel.
2. Remove dash bezel.
3. Remove the four screws holding in the cluster.
4. Pull out cluster.
5. Unplug clips.
6. Put new cluster in.
7. Put back the four cluster screws.
8. Put back the dash bezel.
9. Put back the top two screws.

2. Remove dash bezel.
3. Remove the four screws holding in the cluster.
4. Pull out cluster.
5. Unplug clips.
6. Put new cluster in.
7. Put back the four cluster screws.
8. Put back the dash bezel.
9. Put back the top two screws.
any 96-00civic cluster is simple plug and play..... its already wired to have a tach ive heard.. you can even keep your center milage cluster to keep milage accurate to prevent odomenter fruad!

why i have no worries. my car is parked in a secure garage every night, and at work they have cameras all over the parking lot. plus im no fool I HAVE FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE.... so hell if someone does steal it O WELL, next will be a hatchback 5speed
