Default Noob needs a header!

Alright so, I am looking to get a header for my '05 type-s. As for now, it has the air intake, and cat-back GReddy. I figure before I throw KPro on her, I should get a header so short and sweet is which one would better suit me needs? Im not looking for sound, i'm just concerned with power gain, as well as simplicity. I was going to get the Buddy Club, but I dont want to deal with DEQ, foulers, check engine lights, all that. I was thinking about Megan, but I really cant find a good header review. I did homework to an extent before writing this, but everything said their header was amazing. Any help would be awesome! I am a student, so money is somewhat of an object.

DC is a decent value for the money. I wouldn't put anything Megan on my car, period. They don't R&D anything...they just try to copy other designs (and usually do it poorly).

well if you put the buddy club with kpro you wont have to worry about the check engine light or any of that junk.. but i also agree on going with the DC.

just got the ceramic dc race header, pretty nice with my ws2. Make sure you get motor mount inserts or in my case innovative motor mounts or else the pipe tends to makes contact with the underside of the car.

Not to familiar with megan's products but there have been great reviews on clubrsx. You may consider strup or even buddy club but they're a more expensive.

As far as the CEL, just get a mechanical o2 sim from ebay or make your own (search and you'll find it). I did and no more CEL or as mentioned earlier you could get k-pro.

Any 'shorty' header will keep the OEM cat. It won't give as much HP< but it will keep you legal.

I thought Strup was started by someone that used to work at DC Sports. Toda is a JDM company.
