I just got a DC Sports 4-1 header put on, and it seems to not have as much pull as it did with the stock..This is throughout the RPM range, except I can feel a little extra between 5000-6500. This was professionally installed along with a AEM cold air, and a Greddy exhaust. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I don't have any check engine lights on, and everything sounds the same. I don't think it's leaking, since it's just a bolt on...I"m going to take it back and have them check it. Any help would be appreciated.

There's nothing wrong. A 4-1 header will give you high-end power. That is why you feel it at the higher rpm range.

JSM, it feels flat at 7000. Before the header, it pulled before more it seems..Maybe I'm just expecting more then I'm getting..It just seems slower, even when I goose it.....I don't think that could be the case with someting that is designed to increase power though...

 

Whatever makes you happy.. if you don't like it, sell it off and get a 4-2-1 or something more suited to your tastes. no point in being in denial if you really don't like it
