Default 99 Civic DX idle question

Just noticed the idle dropping whenever the A/C turns on. It doesn't kill the engine, but you can tell it's struggling to stay running. Is this just an idleing problem that I could fix by speeding it up some, or is there a solenoid or something that is supposed to compensate for the A/C?

I realize this, so is your answer to increase the idle speed?

You could increase the idle speed a little bit..
But before you do that, have you changed your plugs and wires?
Usually when I turn on my A/C, the motor would drop idle for a second then get back to normal.
It shouldn't stay struggling the whole time.
