b16(obd1)/B18c into a 93 hatch
what would i need for this swap besides motor tranny, ecu, axles, do i need to use a special shift linkage or would a gsr/b16 fit, let me know
You may need to run additional wires from individual sensors to empty ECU pinouts.
As for parts, you must use the linkage from the donor car (94-01 Integra/99-01 Civic Si)

knock sensor - on p30/p72 ecu's (no need for this if you chip a p28)
2ndary butterfly - only on gsr/p72 with the STOCK intake manifold, b16a's and gsr's w/ skunk2 manifolds don't need this.
other than that, you might need new radiator hoses (I used integra ones w/ mine) and clamp them really good. the 2 heater hoses behind the engine (to the firewall) need to be longer. other than that, you can reuse some of your original mounts. if its a b16a3/2 you can use your stock upper mount on that bracket (if it's a b18a/b/c you need the integra upper mount). the tranny mounts are all the same (I used my old Si one on my gsr). all obd1 wiring plugs up into the eg chassis. just run the necessary wires and baam, (oh, don't forget the ground wires :-d )
PS. just remembered this, if you want a plug + play deal (wiring), get a '92 civic (any year) or if the '93 is a Si /Ex, use the '92-95 ex/si engine harness (we did this in my boy's b16a3 si hatch) all you'd need to run is the knock sensor (if even needed).
