Need help on engines
Is there anything better than a type r engine to put in my 1998 rs or is it better to just rebuild with 160,000 km, even though it may not be worth it. i just wanted to get some horse power flowing through this thing. any suggestions.
Very broad question, but I'll try to make this as simplified as possible. A Type R is going to net you the most power for a completely stock engine. It's far cheaper to just rebuild what you've got, but it's only going to refresh the engine.

i originally wanted an eclipse 2g with a big 16g turbo, i ended up getting an integra and its good probably more reliable, i want my integra to eventually be even or better than that. money wise if i can i wanted to build slowly maybe 2000-3000$ not sure yet, i dont want to unload my whole bank acount all at once.
I would just turbo the LS,just make sure you do a compression and leak down test before you attempt to boost it though...with 2.5k you could get a nice turbo kit from the sponsers marketplace then throw a walbro255 fuel pump, bigger injectors, chipped ecu,and hondata s300....with a good tune you could easily push 300-350whp on the stock bottom end
