Usually I have the problem when im starting off. When the clutch is let out slowly, such as a start, it seems as if something is holding it back, and when it finally lets out it lets out fast and violently so that the car jerks when i start.

i looked underneath and noticed a spring and another peice which the clutch is attached to. I am assuming that one of these peices is causing this trouble.

I can hear it too. It makes a funny squeeky noise when it happens. At some point of time when something is holding back the clutch.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Any would be appreciated.

dude every slow start one in about 10 times itll do the same thing for me. I can still do mad smoke shows and sheet tho

 

Hmm, seems as if I'm having the same problem. I happens in first and second gear, although I don't hear the squeeking noise. It feels like the clutch is slipping and grabbing very rapidly? Is that how you would describe it? Are you still having the same problem?

Yeah my car used to do that....and a month later i needed a new clutch....well turns out the T/O bearing was practiculy gone so it was making the clutch pedal feel sticky...and would engage at diff. times?? weird huh?

Well a I installed a new clutch and everything......grabs like a bad outta hell, but the bad thing is for like 3 weeks the pedal felt great.......easy to push in .....and nice smooth engagement.......but lately( think due to heat) it has been really rough engagement....still grabs hard but my pedal actually like squeaks....and is hard to push in....I think I need to lube the clutch spring....becuase its really old and hard.....so ill try that.....
