anyone have any problems with there 440's?

my b16 made 174.87 @9400 stock bottom end and ran great tuned on chrome for about 3000 miles.
-head work
junk2 manifold
victor x 70mm
custom DC header with 3'' exhaust
RC 440s

190psi all the way across.

now it has a miss at idle and a cuts out right at vtec.

read the plugs and found cyl 1 lean.

moved cyl 1 injector to 3 and now 3 is lean....

bad burn? bad injector? any ideas would be great...

 

Sounds defective, contact RC or whom ever you bought it from if you bought them for a shop for a swap.

 

RC said its over a year old so to bad.....

 

Could try yanking out the inlet screen to make sure there isn't something lodged in there. Backflush it with the inlet screen removed. That's about all anyone could do.

 

Sounds to me like something got past your fuel filter & clogged the injector.
We have never had issues with RC injectors.

do i have to send them out or can i clean them?

 

RC can clean them for like $20 a plug.

 

I wonder if those injector cleaners you add to your gas tank would help or if they're bullshit.

 

injector cleaners are designed for deposits not debris but it wouldn't hurt othewise if that don't work find a shop to flush and flow test for a double check to make sure the injector is in fact 100 pecent

 

it seems to be getting better... bad batch of gas?
