Swapping d16a6 for d15b2 in my 89 si, need to do anything else?
Car is an 89 civic Si. Basically just swapping over all stock components to a d15b2, no modifications at this time. My d16a6 is reading stupid low compresion numbers and I have a really good d15b2 laying around, in case anybody is wondering why I would be something illogical like this. Almost finished with the mechanical aspect of this swap and just wanted to know if there is anythinf else needed to make it run properly. I've read all the dpfi>mpfi info and everything *should* be plug-n-play.
Just a block swap really? Any timing issues that need to be addressed due to the shorted stroke?

If it's the D15B2 Complete, Block + Head, no timing issues. Now if you switch the heads and don't account for the shorter deck height in cam timing you'll have an issue - not a dangerous one, but just a simple mechanical timing issue.
