Default ABS light

I just replaced my drivers side CV halfshaft and as soon as I started my car again the ABS light came on. I have tested out the brakes and I do not have anti-lock brakes now. It is possible that I could have pulled on a wire pulling out my axle but I checked every connection I could and then checked the fuses and nothing was wrong. Any ideas?

Did you get the right axle? Is there a ABS tone ring located on the axle? Check the abs sensor for debri, maybe debri or dirt entered the sensors port while installing the axles or perhaps you damaged it during install. This is all if it wasnt on before the install.
