Is there some type OF TRICK to get this dang door harness disconnected?? The part thats giving me a major headache is the plug that runs inside the rubber housing that runs into the cabin. Am I making any since here?

Is this a plug that simply come un-attached or am I missing something here?

 

You must be talking about the connector at the door? Take the fender off, its much easier that way. Pull the rubber boot back. There is a clip (I think its blue or green) that snaps back, then push in the tab (just like all the other connectors) and pull.
