Icky film on head light
are taking about that protective 1/2" plastic stuff? cuz i had that and that crap does noto come off once put on. u need to get new headlights if its the same thing i had.
just wet and them and have them clear coated...it's not as easy as saying it..but I have friends that paint cars for a living...so it's alittle easier for me.
try clear-coat safe polishing compound, Turtle Wax brand is like $2 for a tub. It's in a white tub and intended for clear coats due to it not having the same cut (harshness) has other polishing compounds. This is the #1 most indespensible, most useful car-care product I own. I use it to polish out swirl marks, foggy headlights, and when I touchup paint it is absolutly vital. Off-topic, but I am the master touch up painter, just fill the chip or scratch, let it dry, then sand it flat using 1500 sand paper, then polish out the sanding marks. I takes several hours, but I can blend touch-up paint in so well you cant see it unless you really get close (I mean inches) and the car is clean.
