ok well im putting in my mounts and the top bolt for the trans mount came out stripped completely . where could i get a replace bolt/nut, i dont feel like getting something from home depot, which is really my only option right now. does hasport have any or anywhere else that that will have some strong bolts?

 

if i understand you right, find a fastenall store or good hardware supply...you can probably use a longer bolt and nut. consider the honda dealer too, the bolts might be more but you know they are stout. there is always heli-coil too

 

ahh hell! i was just putting the mount in and just have the stripped bolt holding it up for now, anddd my damn tranny is hitting the car...what the hell. ive never even heard of anybody else having this prob. o my trans is a jdm b17 gsr trans, ys1. is the casing longer at the end or soemthing? it never looked like my ls trans would hit...i dont know, im tempted to just beat the hell out of it right there with my bfh, like you do for the alternator ya know. im frustrated! oh theyre the newest hasports...i need a beer.

man i just forgot..the store, automotive fasteners is right down the street from where i am! too much beer i guess haha. so the bolt problem isnt the problem anymore.
