window regulator
my window have been off track for a while and i finally took the door cover off and unbolted the window, i realized that on side on the regulator was bent causing the window to go up crooked...can someone give me advice on how to fix this problem
How did you figure auto windows would be less expensive? Usually manual regulators are very cheap, I replaced my girlfriends accord one and it was like $40 OEM. You can try spraying the run channel with silicone spray and cleaning that out too, sometimes that helps depending how dirty it is.

i have a 98 ex also and this just happened to me. The window fell completly off track yesterday, thought i had it fixed and had to tear it all apart today again after it fell off AGAIN. Someone told me that it may be just the track, but I dont see how to replace that? Im thinking its just the regulator also, that something's bent in the front part because thats where its falling off track at. I also heard a loud clank noise a few times the past month or so, but the window worked fine at the time.
are the regulators hard to change or is it pretty basic? I have power windows if it matters in that case.
