Stock Camber for a 2000 Honda Civic Si (EM1)
hello fellow hondatechnicians, got another question:
Whats the stock camber for an em1?
just bought some 15x8 wheels on 205/50/r15 tires and the tires stick outside of the fender a little bit so im planning to have the wheels cambered in more towards the fender. so my question is can i go -1.5/-2.0 all around on stock camber bolts and stock camber arms for my model civic? cuz right now it rubs like a ****. im also planning to roll the fenders so that should help a little but i want to camber it to make sure no rubbing when driving normal.
also whats the maximum i can camber it on stock arms and bolts. and any ideas on ideal shop prices for this job? thanks!!!

r u sure cuz my friend **** has a 2001 civic and the shop cambered his rear wheel to -1.5. ALso im on H&R springs (2.5 drop in front and 2.25 drop in rear) if that helps
The suspension on your 2000 model and your buds 01 are totally differant. You also have differant goals in adjusting your camber. Your friend added positive camber (top of the tire tipped out) because lowering the car introduced negative camber (top of tire tipped in). Youre trying to add negative camber to keep you tires from rubbing the fender lip. Camber on our cars is non adjustable without a camber kit. You can however adjust in positive camber in the stock rear by doing the washer trick (shim) but thats going the wrong direction for you.

Second that. Also the 8" wide rim is a little excassive for that size tire. The OP has to be the first person I've seen that WANTS to add negative camber for normal driving. Have fun trying to keep tires on that car.
