Default Transmissio/Drive shaft seal leaking

hey guys
just replace a clutch on a 96 spec jdm dc2
with a oem exedy replacement

went for test drive
came back
oil sprayed all down the exhast

i've decided its the shiftlinkage seal where it attatched to the gearbox
or the driveshaft axle seal needs replacing?

there is tiny drips of oil on shift linkage

not sure which 1 is causing the problem

anyhelp would be great guys
cheers

It's most likely your driveshaft seal that got worn out from taking the axles out or putting them in. And yes, I had oil around area of the shiftlinkage seal and shift linkage when my axle seal went out.

I haven't seen those shiftlinkage seals go out often, most likely your axle seal.

Shift rod seals don't go out very often on newer Hondas.

Best to replace both axle seals at the same time. I don't know the part numbers (each side is different so you will need to order both seals.
