yea i think the guy i took it to did a very good job matching everything up. he even cut everything for me, i took the car to him and a week later picked it up. i had him do some other paint work too, dings and such. but i like the way it looks a lot better.

Car looks great, Im about to do the same myself hopefully next week. How much did you pay to get the bumper painted and the dings repaired? I have gotten some pretty high quotes. One place said they would put the bumper on the car and paint it for $320. I thought that was a little high, so I went to another place and they said around $1000 but that was including blending the bumper to match the paint on the rest of the car. Did you pay to have the bumper blended?

if u have fresh paint there is no need to blend but if u still have the original paintjob from factory it prolly faded a lil bit thus u need to blend. my cra was repainted a year ago so whne i got my new bumper painted after my lil mis-hap i didnt worry about bleding and it matches perfect

he blended the paint, you can't even tell that the bumper wasn't on the car from the factory. he charged me 700. that was to paint the front bumper, paint the fender(lot of rock chips), fix a few quarter size **** on the sides, repaint the part of the trunk below the brake light(few spots that anoyed me), and repaint the rear bumper(was spiderwebed from were previous owner backed into something). so for all of that plus he put the bumper on the car and cut the support for me, i didn't think it was a bad deal.

Ha ha I have all the same little chips and a ding by on the trunk lid under the brake light. I just got a quote of $856 to paint the bumer and all the dings but they wont let me bring my own bumper so I have to but it from them for 323 so all in all $1180 which is a bit more than I wanted to spend. I have been to a bunch of other shops but they were all a lot more expensive for blend, around $1500.

i paid $250 for my bumper from the dealer, i told them i had a price i could get it online at and i talked the parts manager into that price. and then the tow hook cover cost me like 10 bucks so all in all it cost me like 960 for the conversion and paint, plus fixing everything else.

not sure about the name of the location, but i work at insight and we just looked for random places to take the pics, possibly could be if thats in commerce crossings
