I would just take it back with out touching it so they cant say you broke it or made it worse...

Make sense now? Stop fooling with it and take it back immediately. The longer you wait the easier it will be for them to deny breaking anything.

You already made a mistake... They needed to discover that their was no fluid, not you. If they rebuilt the motor then obviously they pull the trans off and didn't refill it.

sounds like you're boned.

maybe you should've taken it back to them immediately when you noticed the problem, instead of waiting 3 weeks then posting on here.

why didn't you just take it back as soon as you found out they didn't put any fluid in the trans??? without filling it up... you should had acted liek you had no idea and have them figure it out

start looking for a used tranny or a reputable shop to rebuilt the trans

you had a shop do work on your engine, yet you'd trust yourself to rebuild your transmission?

No, there aren't any kits, as it's likely nothing a kit will fix anyways.

sorry man but i think your best bet is to find another shop to do the work. tranny work is not easy and you'll need to know what you are doing
