Default PLS GIVE ME ADVICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELPPPPP

recently bought a eg6 and i did the most stupid thing and forgot to check the vin on the chassis because it had a clean title and it matched on the dash so i looked like couple weeks after i bought the car and notice the vin didn't match on with the dash to make it even sadder it is my first car

the clean title is registered to the dash vin but not on the chassis vin

but the chasis aint stolen it came from a auction and did a vin check on the chassis all it said was lost record some **** like that

WHAT CAN I DO OR AM I **** OUT OF LUCK

car is registered and insured but onto a different car because he swapped out the dash from his totaled hatch and gave us the title

Your going to have to get a state inspection, check with your Department of Liscensing. First place to check.
