Slight Surging/Bogging at constant speed? and revs drop to zero when you push clutch?
I have a F20B DOHC VTEC SIR-T Torneo I had just bought a couple of weeks ago, they had the cambelt replaced before I bought it from the yard also.
I notice in the mornings when I start it up, and generally whenever it is started from cold it seems to surge slightly?
Basically you accelerate and it feels like it kinda bogs for a sec then keeps going, and when your at a constant speed it feels like someone is lightly applying the brakes very slightly every so often.
Could this be a problem with the timing or something?
I'm not sure if this is also related but the car came with half a tank of gas, I used it all and filled with $60 of Shell 95, after filling when I pushed the clutch in and applied the brakes to slow down the revs dropped straight to zero and it stalled... this happened about 3 times and has never done it since.
I thought probably some water in the tank or something but thought I better point it out incase it could be related.
