I was just wondering how to check if a motor is still good without having it swapped in. I had a spare motor that I had laying around from 2 years ago. It was taken out of a running 92 ex. It's been laying in my garage tarped, I was interested in selling it but not sure if it is still good.

why would it go bad? swap out the oil and i bet it would start right up

 

well I didnt want to sell a motor that was bad.
