HELP MY CAR WON'T START!
Hey, so, my 1989 crx stopped starting. It'd been needing to turn over a few times before it started for a while, I had been trying to figure it out, when it suddenly stopped altogether. I originally thought it was the ignitor, and the ecu blinking code told me it was either the coil or the ignitor, I put in the brand new distributer and nothing changed. It turns over, just doesn't catch. Please, if you have any ideas reply, I would really appreciate any suggestions!! Thanks!!

three basic things to make a car run : air, fuel, spark. make sure you have all those and it should run. check spark first, pull a plug out and leave it attached to the wire and crank it to see if it sparks, if you got that make sure there fuel pressure.

I know what it takes to make a car run, I appreciate the run down though. Ive checked the spark, there is none, which is why I went the distributer route, which is also what the ecu told me to do, so Im assuming the ecu isnt shot, also cause its turning over, just not starting. Might be something in the wiring harness, any idea how to track that down? Thanks so much for the suggestions, I really appreciate the help!
Are you still getting codes?
How are your grounds? Especially the one for the head. It goes from the valve cover stud, to the valve cover itself, then to the front left radiator bracket.

yup, grounds are good, ground from valve cover is good. The code Im getting is 6 then pause then 15, any ideas? i know 15 is ignitor/coil, but thats not the problem, thanks guys!
That's the ECT sensor thats on the side of your head.
That's suggestive of a bad ground somewhere. What about the one on the thermostat housing, and the one on the transmission? Are those there?
How do you know the one for the valve cover is good? They can be broken inside, or damaged enough that they show continunity, but fail when a load is placed on it.
