Default distributor question

i have a obd2 car with obd1 engine and p28 ecu with conversion harness for the ecu. my question is do i still need a conversion harness for the dizzy?

If you're running an OBD-II engine harness, then you need an OBD-II distributor.

If the distributor will not bolt to the head then you can swap the internals of the distributors to make it work with the harness. Or you can buy a jumper harness for the distributor to convert it to OBD-II.

the harness plugs ryt in the distributor but im thinking it might be wired differently. will it even run if i plug it in?
