Aftermarket horn in an eg
So i got the relay mounted, horns mounted/wired, power wired up, all the wires ran, and now i am stuck.
Where do i hook up the wire for the Fuse box and where do i hook up the wire for the horn button?? i am getting a wheel and quik release so it will not be a problem getting into the steering column...wire is already through the firewall as well for the horn.
i know someone out there has hooked up one of these Hella horns!!! Thx for your help!

bump...there are tons of write-ups on how to change the steering wheel, but none specifically for the horn.
I have figured out the power to the horn button, just need to know where to hook it to the fuse box in the engine bay...anyone????

What do the instructions call for? What Im getting at, is why do you have to run a wire to the fuse box? You already stated that you have the power to it, so Im confused as to what you are trying to accomplish.
I can likely help you, I just need to know what it is you are trying to do.

also, do you kno what color that wire is gonna be? I knwo its hot all the time but i dont have a multimeter handy

i isolated the horn wire(pin 6 on srs harness), i guess since i am hooked from the hella relay directly to the blue/red wire that goes to the factory horn, all i have to do now is hook the #6 wire to the horn button? Everything else is hooked up except i have to go get an inline 20A fuse for the battery
