Default 92 Civic LX Brake light Problems

This is my first post and I really need help on this one. The brake lights on my 92 civic LX won't turn off when you aren't pressing the brake. I already replaced the stop switch and that didn't get them to turn off. If I can get a wiring diagram for the brake lights that would be great. Anybody have ideas to what could be causing this?

Thanks,
Steven

ok here is your answer .. on top of the brake pedal.. there is a switch, when you push the pedal the switch closes and turn the light on.that switch is a NORMALY OPEN SWITCH .or ( N.O) but is not the switch your problem is a little plastic that goes betwen the switch and the pedal . ,,when you press on the pedal the switch closes and when you depressed the switch open.. that plastic probably came off . and the switch closes because the plastic or ruber is missing and there is nothing betwen the pedal and the switch it happpen to me long time ago.. so if is missing put a screw on it or something that fits right into the little hole that goes betwen the switch and pedal... normaly is plastic or rubber made.

Already replaced that switch and that didn't work. The bulbs are the right kind as none have been replaced. Any other ideas?

yeah but is not the switch the problem... is a litte round rubber divider that goes on the pedal.. you gonna see like a little round hole on the pedal..there it goes the round rubber thing,, check the pedal in that section. if you see the hole is because the rubber is missing, !! and the switch does not make contact with the pedal. that's why the lights stays always on..!!
