Default help help help!!

ok i tried cleaning my iacv and tb but my idle still acts weird, when i start up it jumps up to 2500....then itll bounce down to 200 and jump back up to 2000, it does that non stop...first it only did it til the car warmed up, but now it does it no matter how long i have the car running.......any advice??

was your reving doing this BEFORE you cleaned the IVAC and TB or after?

check your coolent level it might need some, mabe a vacuum leak??

What you are describing OP is what a vacuum leak will do to the engine's idle. I'm not saying it's 100% a vac leak, I'm just saying that a vac leak will cause a constant hunting idle.

While idling, spray TB cleaner around the TB, IACV and were the IM meets the head and listen for the engine to bog. My guess is that you'll need a new TB gasket.

i sprayed it down but still nothing, i adjusted to idle screw and it still bounces from 900 to 1700...then i turned it off and back on again and it stayed idling at 1800...i dont know wat else to do

I would replace the IAC valve...if they go bad it will surge like that.
