01 F4i starting issues?
im new to all the fuel injection on bikes and im having issues putting my 01 f4i back togeather. I picked the bike up after a low speed lowside, the guys friend actually never made it out of the drive way. It ran great just cosmetic damages. i rode it around just shaking it down to check the damages. i pulled it down to check the oil leak, and change the oil and also to repair the front fearings. the tank had a dent in it so i carried it to a local nice body shop that i though could do it. well they would up blowing up the tank filled with water and the fuel pump still in it. well we replaced the tank with a used one, they fixed it and im putting it back togeather. during this time im also having the repair the wiring going to the right rear relays. i cut soldered the wires one at a time to make sure everything matched up, but some were cut.
right now everythging lights up, the motor will turn over, but the fuel pump wont turn on and the solid red light on the inst pannel is lit and the oil light flashes.
no place local has a manual and i cant find one to down load. Im mainly looking to see if there is a wiring harness diagram and what i can do to test the fuel pump, which wires and what ohms it should read.
Thanks in advance

90% of the time when a fuel pump doesn't prime, it's the bank angle sensor. bypass that sensor (try cbrforums to see which wires to jumper, i forget the colors). if you bypass that sensor and it still doesn't prime, then i'd try trouble shooting the pump.

you shouldn't have to cut anything. there's a 24pin clip (i think it's 24) that you disconnect from the headlight harness that you can jumper with a paper clip. i could tell you if i still had my f4i, but it's long gone.

since its all just hung up there to see if it would work i fiound the bas sensor between the headlights, the red/white, white/black and the green. on cbrforum it says jump the green and red/white. when i do that one of the relays i had to rewire clicks so i think thats the issue, now itsjust trying to find out where, damn this thing is becoming a headach.
UPDATE: got the bike to run, seems either the leads to the rear two relays arent correct, or the relays are bad. i can jump across the wires and it will start idle and run. so time to replace the 2 relays and go from there.
