First try searching for info. This has been covered many times. Try thermostat, fan switch, fan switch relay, radiator cap, etc. Try the small things first and if no go try the larger components.

yea, assuming you have a b series swap the fan switch is on the thermostat housing. if you have a d series then its on the back of the block. and like he said just jump the connection and see if the fan turns on.

The connector that comes off of the switch has two wires so take a paper clip and bend it into a u and put it into the connector. basicly the switch when at a certain temp will connect the two and turn on the fan and theres no guaranty that it will work but my experinces with honda and fan failure usally lead to the switch.

The Fan Switch is #12 on this link. Just do what gsrhatch2356 says to do and jump it. If it turns on then just replace it.

Why did you do that when everyone is telling you to check the fan switch. Anyone could have told you by changing the thermostat wouldn't make the fan turn on or not. Thats not what the thermostat does. It lets antifreeze in the engine when it gets to hot.
Check your fan switch.
