Well, I have a B16 in my CRX... It was running great with the GSR throttle body, but i found one for a DelSol VTEC. I Installed it last night, and started it up and everything was fine.(Only started it for 2 min to make sure nothing was leaking.)
This morning I start it up, and it was normal. I let it warm up and started driving. When I got to the stoplight by my house, the idle was bouncing from 650-1500 rpm constantly.
I used a new gasket, torqued to specs, bleed the coolant, and installed everything correctly.
Would this be a sign that the TPS or MAP sensors are bad? I put 50 miles on it today and dont have any CEL's. Car is converted to OBD-1 running a stock USDM P30 ecu.

you probably lost a little coolant when you put the new one on. Did you add coolant to top it off when you were done? Low coolant won't let the iacv work right and you'll get a surge. Since the iacv is the highest part of your coolant system it only takes a small loss of coolant to give it problems. You map and tps would cause more serious problems and a definate cel if they were the culprit.

Thanks Bro
.... I searched and found a hundred threads and none of them had problems like mine...
Start up= FINE... Cold 2000 rpm- warm 700 rpm...
Engine at 190' , hit the gas peddle = fluxuating from 650 to 1500 rpm...
Coolant is topped off, and bleed. It has somthing to do with the TB, because it was fine before I swapped it out.
IDK? Maybe I drank too much this month?

OK, I put the GSR throttle body back on, and everything was normal...Now I noticed my GSR throttle body has 2 ports before the butterfly... The new one I put on only has 1 port going to the FITV... Would this have anything to do with it?

Ok, i found out that my TB is a 96+ because it doesn't have a FITV.
There is still 1 coolant line going from the head to the TB, and 1 from the TB to the IACV.
Would bypassing the the TB all together and running 1 line from the head to the IACV fix this problem?
Thanks Alex

This is the TB I purchased... Its alot bigger than the GSR that was on my car, the GSR almost fits in this one...
