try your idle screw... i like my car to idle a little under a grand... as for the iacv... try your fitv... that allows the car to idle high when cold and when the car gets warm it will allow it to idle normal... clean that up... in the back side there are (2) 8mm bolts/ phillps head bolts pull them out it will be this white plastic piece and a bronze looking piece in the center... push in with your fingers on that white piece and just tighten it up... and then clean the other end with jsut the phillip head screws... you will proably have to get vise grips on them... and i would replace with (2) 8mm bolts there also... good luck... let me know if you get it running right...
I will try the fitv, I thought that was for the idle. Im going to idle the car a little higher. IM running 87 octane gas on the 1st gen b16a1 motor.
I will first clean up the fitv thats on the air intake manifold. My map sensor is still on the firewall. My tps is suppose to be what when in the closed position.
thanks For all help..
So 90teg91hatch im suppose to unscrew the fitv and then clean up and replace the 8mm screws with new ones..

yeah man hopefully thats it... its sounding as if its dirty... you should ditch the map sensor on the firewall and go with a b18b throttle body... then the map sensor will be on top of the throttle body... but be careful b/c you may switch up the tps and the map sensor and cause some really bad idle issues but you would just switch them back and you'd be alright... make sure you pull the negative termanel of the batter to reset any check engine codes and if there is any check engine light that comes on after that read your codes...
nope, still idles low when cold. I just idled the car just under a grand so when cold the car idles at 500-600 rpms when warm idles at 900-950rpm.
I will be getting a new throttle body & intake manifold, so when I do that hope I can fix the problem. As im going to switch everything to a 92-95 del sol vtec so I can get it bar'd..

okay guy... i dont know... see if you can get another fit valve and try that... maybe yours is jacked up then... i'd just try replacing all them parts that are on the manifold and maybe you could come across your problem..
