Had timing belt changed and now clutch pedal is sticking
Had a shop change my timing belt ,water pump, drive belts etc and now my clutch pedal is getting stuck to the floor when going into 1st gear and when it does come back up it's making a noise, it has never done this before could they have messed something up?do you need to fool with the clutch or tranny to do the work that I had done? 1st time pedal got stuck it wouldn't go into gear.
i have no idea but you didnt do anything so they must of touched something...they might have disconnected the cable to take out something and it might need to be readjusted

Somebody owes you money. What does a timing belt have to do with a clutch? Let me guess, YOU do not know. I would bet if you had an oil change and your rear brake pads wore out, IT'S THE SHOPS FAULT. Just drove around the block and the pedal isn't sticking but there is a slight grinding when I accelerate, it goes away when I take foot off of gas and doesn't do it in neutral now I'm really lost as to the problem.

I know, you have 1-800-call a lawyer on speed dial. You do know an oil change has nothing to with brakes, right? A timing belt is on the other side of the motor from the clutch? Or are you one of those DOLTS, I had new tires put on at the shop, and now my car skips, has distributor problems. It's there fault.
I just looked and you are over 16, I am suprised. But you do live at home with mom and dad, correct?

Seen that. Several years back my mom had a shop do a brake job. Drove off the lot, CEL. I look at it when she gets home and some one had rigged a few of the connectors (MAF, IAT) to be loose/fall off upon driving and set off the CEL. I even quit a job at a local shop because after a year they tried to convience me to lie to people about needs and to rig issues for more returns.

I know the shop quite well and have been bringing my car there for years, I doubt they purposely messed with it. Also noticed when shifting in traffic it had a funny smell.
dont keep driving it man.. just take it back to the shop u dont gotta be a punk about it or nething just be like hey ever since i got it back its been doing this would you mind taking a look at it.. more than likely they want to keep ur return business so they will take a look and probably identify the problem. best of luck and my advice dont keep driving when u have a problem take it back right away before things get worse
