Does anyone know of a site to purchase performance resonators.....also if their is a specific size people are using for their 03 accord v6.....Also what is a good performance resonator/muffler, that has a beefy, yet muffled sound for example a g35

Nothing will sound like a 350Z/G35. Not even another VQ engine. They are tuned differently to begine with, muffler, pipes, etc. The 07+(?) are even true duals.

With that out of the way. My guess is to keep the OEM muffler, but replace the stock resonator with a Magnaflow round. Just a guess. I have never heard anyone with such set up. No performance gain so no one is willing to try it.

 

I installed a magnaflow resonator today.....sounds awesome! I also removed my middle muffer.....next mod, cold air intake..thanks

 

Where did you buy it from and how did you install it?

 

Just get a Magnaflow full catback exhaust, I got one for my Accord and love it. I found it for $540 shipped. Here is a clip of revving, and a clip of a second gear pull from inside the car:

It also has a V2 intake, otherwise stock. I love the way it sounds

 

THat sounds sick....but then again in total i only spent $100 for the resonator and removing the middle muffler.....i have a warranty so i dont want to void it by doing anything in front of my cats......by the way i had it istalled at midas my good buddy is the manager their...they had to weld 2.5 inch piping to the resonator then bend the tips to fit in 2.0 inch....hopefully i will post some sound videos

I have 2 mufflers and 2 resonators. no cat.

heres my current setup.







resonated test pipe(ebay) - used a o2 plug - calsonic muffler (precat from 350z) - ebay resonator - Magnaflow muffler all 2.25" piping.






sounds really close to the oem 350z g35 sound has a good growl

 

Wow. Thats a nice setup you got going there. You replaced almost the whole stock exhaust. Is that a Magnaflow round muffler.

 

What model number magnaflow muffler is that is it 14832?
