This is the wire harness i have to replace anyone have tips or directions on how to replace this?Part is called WIRE HARNESS, RR. part number 32108-SR2-A13. Also i will pay someone to do it for me. I live in Indiana pa. I

its actually a section of wires that clips on from the lower left kick panel all the way to the rear you just have to take out the seats and maybe the carpet you might be able just to pull it down. It goes to the fuel pump, after that it goes directly to the rear of the car where there another clip on section that powers the taillights you will have to take off any plastic panels covering it when you get right next to the taillight should unclip easily then your done.

 

I remember that being a pain in the *** in the civic because it tied off to a lot of different things, I thought it was more than the fuel pump.

 

I would do it but how far are from NJ? I had the same problem in my sol I drooped a penny in the lighter and melted all the wires together

 

it is time consuming but it definitely isn't hard to do if your close to NJ man i can go help I live near woodbridge so if your within 60 min more or less ill help you like i said easy fix all you have to do is pay for my gas there and back.

 

i am a hr from pittsburgh.... which is prob 4 to 5 hrs from nj.

i did a temp fix. I replaced all the shorted out wires. and then crimped the new wires in. Taped each wire individually then tapped a clean look. After that everything was fine. no shortage problem. I have a full interior wire harness setup for sale. I might install the piece in my car that i temp fixed but otehr than that its fully.

 

might replace the harness tonight. The temp fix is holding up though.

 

well since you used connectors and it's holding up, if you decide not to change out the whole harness, I would suggest soldering the wires and using some shrink tubing to seal everything...alot better than connectors...

 

i started doing the replacement and noticed i have to replace the dash also..... so yah i need help extreamly idk where the dash harness stuff is run and how to get to it. I already removed the dash but idk what eles to remove to get to the old harness setup.

 

I need to know how to get that off....

yah there is nothing on there that tells me how to remove that piece. i emailed him but he didn't respond.

 

There is a nut on teh firewall you ahve to take off along with the heater core hoses.

 

wish i knew what nut haha..

 

car should be done today. wish me luck
