the d15b2 intake mani has a circle for the coolant passage and the other intake has like a square type opening for the passage.. should i get the one for the intake? It all lines up, so should that one work out?

It shouldn't really matter if both manifolds share the same mounting flange/bolt pattern. I would just get whichever gasket is cheaper if there's any price difference. Otherwise, get the one with the larger coolant bypass opening if you're concerned about it, but keep in mind that the coolant passage on the head is still going to be square shaped so it doesn't really make a difference. You can also just enlarge the opening on the gasket if you want to.
