Default the real scenario in H2o and Antifreeze/Coolant mixture

ok hopefully this would be my last and final time buying coolants and distilled water. i wasted coolants on replacing the thermostats(twice), then radiator. total of 3 times buying new coolants.

now this will be my fourth time. i will be getting the head gasket fix. after doing a lot researched, i found out about water wetter, distilled water, and straight H2o only.

i'm not going to use WW or go straight H2o. i understand it is more appropiate to use full strength coolant and mix it with distilled water. (i kind of like this procedure)

...after doing more research, i found out that some people uses water with the 50/50 premix? is that a right way to do?

i do have one extra 50/50 Honda sittin in the garage i bought 2 and used one already. second time was full strength Peak(i used only half) and third time i use the same Peak from the second time with some distilled water.

now i have a choice to use the Honda one or buy another Peak or the new Havoline? there are so many out there-Preston is not one of my choices, i don't know why. just like in tires i hated Kumho so much. you guys see the new coolant by Murrays? i thought it was kind of funny.

what about Super-Tech from Wal-Mart?

when it comes to antifreeze almost all are identical. the real difference is the color. the green is ethylene glycol which is usually the most popular. mix that in a 60/40 with less water. this gives you a higher boiling point, and lower freezing point. down to -60* F in most instances. the other is propylene glycol-based, which is not as sweet tasting so it doesnt attract animals and small children. with simular charictoristics, and is usually orange or yellow. and they should never be mixed togeather.

some people did it the opposite way. more water than antifreeze/coolant.
