over-heating issue please help
my civic obviously over heats after 5 min of driving 75% up the gauge and theres coolant in the res, i was thinking therm-stat i checked fan fuses aswell?
You probably have air in your lines. Park your car on a hill with the radiator nearest the top of the hill and take your radiator cap off. Leave it like that for a while, then start it up and get the pump running. Make sure no bubbles pop up anywhere.
Other than that, check your thermostat.

lol, I'm right with you man, I'm in Tampa and I live in Daytona most of the year. You could try just jacking the front end up over night if you have a floor jack. Easier than finding a hill.
