ok heres the deal i have a b16 in a 90 hatchback it has a b16 s1 tranny in it.my problem is when i shift its harder to put in gear than usually.

also when its gear and i start to drive my shifter moves as im riding.the faster i go it moves too.when i shift to 2nd it pops or makes a sound.it feels like my shifter but not to sure.cause it looks like it moved from where it usually would be.

and when i reverse i have to push and hold it there..if i let it makes bell noise and grinds..has anybody have ne input in this please i need help..

 

sounds like your syncros are on their way out

 

my coupe is doing the same thing my syncros r pretty much shot. good luck with it tho.

 

you guys dont think it could be something with mounts?or somethin with my shifter or linkage?

 

could be both the way your describing it...check under the car and see if the bolt holding the linkage to tranny is loose that has happened to me before..it does sound like your syncros are going out also though
