lately while driving around, doesnt matter wether on a highway or local road my 94 civic ex coupe has been bogging, its gotten to the point where you can feel it both in the car jurking and you can see the tach jumping a little. any advice as to what it may be? i thought i saw someone on here having the same problem and they replaced their ECU, could that be the problem?

 

Could be bad spark plugs, clogged fuel filter, your EGR etc..

 

check your spark plugs

 

a clogged (soot/carbon) primary 02 sensor would get incorrect burn readings, signaling the ECU to dump more fuel in than needed, thinking that the motor isnt getting enough. That would cause to motor to surely bog, but there are a handful of other causes too.

Do a tune-up anytime recently?

 

havent done a tune lately, actually i just made an app for this friday. but i think its my o2 sensor as ive had problems with it before...thanks alot guys
