in need for new clutch. and other questions
hey guys i recently bought a 98 rs teggy 88,000 miles. Long story short didnt do my homework on this car and turned out to be a lemon. but the engine runs great and ive fallen in love with this car so im slowly transforming her.
the latest problem is the clutch has begun to slip (if thats the proper term). now my power goals for this car is roughly 300 hp. (is that a realistic goal if i dont want to change any of the internals of the engine?)
now ive never had to replace a clutch, none the less one on a car that will potentially be making decent power. so I'm lost in how far of a performance clutch i need. stage 1,2,3.. 3 pucks 6 pucks. im lost...
im not here often so if i violated any rules. ill be more than happy to remove the thread

300 is capable with a stock block and turbo, as far as the clutch goes my friend used an exedy stage 1 on his turbo ls and it was fine, i had a ACT heavy duty pressure plate with a 4 puck also used a 6 puck and it was quite well. Owner of a shop i believe said he uses a stock pressure plate and only replaced the clutch disc and he is making like 500 on an integra. I do know another guy that made 400 on an integra using stock pressure plate and upgraded disc. I personally never came across a power to clutch issue.
