Are they straight to run on turbo?

I would hope they would be straight or they wouldn't be in your motor.

This question is better suited in the Forced Induction Forum

A higher CR setup can be a good choice when properly setup. Higher CR can be used to have quicker spool time. The devil is always in the details like tuning, properly sized turbo etc.
