I'm using a ls ecu with a apexi v-afc and my vetc doesn't seem to work. When the rpm hits the setting i hear a change but the car boggs down and the rev stays the same place or goes slow to redline.What is causing this neeed my vtec.

 

i know ls ecu doesnt have vtec on it but will the vafc workinstead of it?

 

i think you still need an ecu that has vtec......

u need a VTEC ecu. LS ecu doesnt have the vtec components. the vafc just tricks those components when u have a vtec ecu.

 

V-AFC is not a replacement, it is a supplement.

spend the ~$150 and buy a GS-R cpu.
