i searched a few day ago and couldn't find info on a procedure for replacing the manual door mirror on my 95 coupe, so i thought i would just take some pics, and tell how i did it.

to remove the window crank you can use a flat blade screw driver to push the clip off, but a pick does a better job. a phillip head screw holds the plastic piece on behind the door handle, and the door latch..


the door panel is held in with the gray little inserts seen here. i started in the front and work my way around to the door jam till all were loose. now tilt the left hand side up,and pull back, the panel should slide right out.


the triangle piece is removed by prying out the bottom, and pulling down. there are two little lips that fit up at the top, be careful not to break them. you can see the little metal piece that holds this piece on.


undo do the three little nuts ,slide out the old mirror, and slide in the new. install the three nuts. check for fit and that it operates properly, and reinstall the components in reverse order.


done.
