Removing Driver's Side Door Panel
Hi guys. My driver side window on my 2000 Civic Ex is a little off the track. I want to get inside the door to realign it and such. I got the diagram and directions for the inside of the door. But i can't get the panel off?!!! lol Could anyone tell me how to do that please?!

did you take the screws off the the panel? theres some under the speaker grill and one in the door handle. then its just some clips around the side that you can pull out.

What are you haveing a hard time with? There should only be a screw or two in the armrest, and one in the inside handle. There are clips that outline the trim panel and are pushed into the door shell. You may have to take the inside handle out in order to get the trim off.

Once you get all the screws out, the door is only held on by a couple of clips that just pop out. There is one behind the handle, the armrest, and 2 or 3 behind the speaker grille. Once those are out, if you have a crank, you'll have to remove the crank handle. Push the panel back away from the crank and then use a handle remover or you can do like I do, use a skinny allen wrench to pop that clip out. Then it should slide right off. I find it much easier to roll the window down before you attempt to pull that whole door panel off.
If you've got power windows, I think the panel just pops up and out with a couple of clips and there might be another screw under there.
After all that, just tug around the edges of the door panel and the snaps should just pop out.
Edit: Don't know if you can even get crank windows on an EX, but just thought I'd throw that in too.

Chances are hes having trouble with 1. the annoying plastic clips that always break, and 2. the top of the panel that clips onto the door frame. You have to carefully pull the bottom out and work your way up to disengage the plastic clips, then slide the panel up and away from the door. Also make sure you remove your tweeters from opposite the mirrors, as that helps. Getting it back in annoying as well, so good luck Don't push too hard as the plastic of the panel can easily crack as well. I know firsthand
EX = power windows, so no crank.
