You have been around for 3 years and have 2500+ posts but don't know how to search?? Its about time you learned. Really. It will help you out a lot in the end.........

Or better yet a 50 trim if he wants faster spool on the 1.6L.

like with any other turbo choice, its all in what you're looking for. For some people its good, for others, it isn't.. It's strictly a matter of preference.

Run the larger housing if you want more topend and the smaller if you want faster spoolup. I'm sure you can find some spool times for each. If I were you I would go for the larger housing as you will likely want to max the turbo out and from the looks of the map 300hp will be about the end of the line.

The .48 a/r housing will max out pretty close to 300hp (280 i think to be exact). I'd say go for the .63 a/r and you will be able to reach your goal while not having to max out on psi.

I personally had the T3 Super 60 on my D16z6 w/ the .48 a/r and I loved it...very efficient turbo

I am looking at the exact turbo for my y8 single cam. I came up with the same info as the guy above me, if you're going for that amount of power go with the .63

I have the .63 and was originally planning on running it on my D15B Vtec. Plans have changed and it looks as though Ill be running a B16 also, so Ill post up how it works out, hopefully soon.

I had a .63/.60 T3 (not a super 60) on my ls/vtec, and the spool was instantaneous, especially compared to the Holset hx35 I just strapped on. It was a great turbo though, 1st gear was essentially useless with my B16 Trans..
