Default going from 16 psi to 18 psi?

will the tune need extensive tuning, or just alittle more fuel and pull a few degrees of timing?

I was just about to ask the same question...I was challenged to run tonight and im a bit underpowered, I was thinking about bumping it up from 12psi to 14psi. I would think retarding it 2* would be safe.

Chances are if you're tuned, you're gonna have boost cut somewhere near what psi you're tuned too. may have to go in and change boost cut psi. but it should be a real miled retune

NO dont do it. If you turn up the boost more then what you where tuned for you will blow your engine. Its as simple as that.

Do you have a wideband and access to the bin file used on your car? If so then just look at the map and I would bet it already has a couple degrees pulled in that column. You will need to watch the A/F to make sure it right, and pull the plugs after a WOT pull and look for signs of detonation, if it all looks good, you’re good. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, take it to the tuner.

X2..just watch your A/F ratio and you can a bit...as long as your tune isnt crazy on the border line. add some race gas if you want..ive turned my boost up 4psi and my a/f stayed at 12:1 and it was tuned at 11:9-12:1...your a/f is everything
