i was given some skunk2 springs as a gift...
i want to know how they ride.. i am going to put them on just to try them out but i want to know if anyone else has used them on stock shocks just so i have an idea of what kind of ride i am going to have...thanks h-t
lowering springs or coilovers..... big difference and if coilovers how low you plan on going?? if you wana slamm... as low as you can go.... even ss teins would give you bottoming out problems.... but over all you should be fine.... i got skunk coils on tokico illunimas 5way slammed as low as i can go... and boy its just for show...

The ride will be much stiffer, much less body roll and the car will handle much better. Also you will feel every bump in the road. Your stock shocks will eventually blow and that will make your car bouncy bouncy.

Agreed. Stock shocks are designed to work with stock springs, when you run them with smaller springs they will fail. If the OEM shocks are old they can blow quickly.
Nino_eg6, your best bet is to either put them on a shelf and save up for some shocks designed for short springs (e.g. Skunk2) or return/sell them. Otherwise you're going to have to buy shocks anyway, but this way you can plan ahead so you get a set that (should) last you a while with those springs.
