that is pretty much a ls tranny that u have. 3 4 5 in a b16 is where you really see the difference between the two.. so your trak time might be about right.

my friend built the tranny for the purpose of turbo or nitrous... will this be a good tranny for boost??

I ran a 15.5 with 2.2 - 2.3 50 ft with my b20 with a LS tranny. This is in a 91 civic hatch full interior.

supposively some longer gears can be good for gaining more boost which is true but i figure i run a b16 tranny on a b18c5 in a crx and i stay well above six seven everytime i shift near redline so i mean by the time second gear comes around all the boost is there for the most part and sure your gonna be shiftin like a **** but thats the purpose of the b16 and the whole reason why it kills the Ls.. so if you ask me your friends b16/ls tranny creation is not as good as a true b16 for boost..
