I need someone that can figure out the problem I am having with my Car. I believe it is in the tune. It seems to start hard, like it will crank for 5-15 seconds then start. When I am driving down the road it seems to run fine however sometimes (like 1 in 15 times) it will quit when you coast to a stop with the clutch in. Such as if you are going 65mph and you come up to a stop light or traffic and you push the clutch in it sometimes will just quit or when coming into a off ramp and you push the clutch in it will just quit. It was just tuned at DB performance by shane on the dyno so that part seems to be ok but its the drivability that is lacking on the tune. I just want it checked out if someone thinks they know what it could be. Thanks

 

maybe its just me, but AEM doesn't seem to like honda's dizzy's. my buddy was having the same issues like you and we switched to neptune and everything was fine. its like the aem doesn't read the ignition signals too well. maybe that's why everyone that has aem is going COP.

 

Just give me a call at the shop and we can try to fix it on the street. The idle and cranking settings might just need some tweaking. You can leave the car with me a day or two, if it needs cold start work.
