I have a 99 integ with a jdm spec gsr in it with the jdm spec ecu. I'm using a usdm spec obd1 wiring harness. I don't think my motor has a crank angle sensor on it because it's a jdm spec. But I'm getting a code 4 only when the car is on. When I shut the car off to check the codes again i don't get a code. I'm starting to think the ecu is going out on me. When i get the code the car loses power and it bogs down. I can't rev the car past 3500 rpm. I can sometimes cut the car off and restart it and the code and the car will drive normally. Just recently it's been getting worst. Can this be a problem in the distributor? Hopefully someone can help me out with this issue.
