Default jdm p30 throwind ELD code

jdm ecu's dont have the electric load detector, yet mine is throwing the code for it
code 20.
this makes absolutely no sense to me so i figured i would ask you guys
its the p30 thats short, not the real long usdm one

anyone know whats up with this thing?

sounds like it's chipped and the chipper forgot to disable the ELD.

i have a USDM P30 and got a code 36 traction control found on JDM ecu's I DO NOT HAVE A JDM ECU!

go figure

however i have a chipped ecu running &lt;crome&gt; perhaps no shocker there was a problem lol however all i did was disconnect the ecu re-burn my program onto another chip and fixed the problem!

the ecu is not chipped
now im really confused!
BUT im going to ignore it because i got my problems all sorted out and
who cares about a code thats not any useful?!
but im rinnin all good and spinning 3rd on a stock b16a 1st gen so
im happy

WELL I HAD A ELD U MAY HAVE A SHORT IN THE WIRE TRY WIREING YOUR ELD RIGHT TO THE PIN ON THE ECU AND RSDET IT AND TRY AGAIN.THAT WORKED FOR ME BUT WORK FOR U ALSO.

BUT its a Japanese ecu so there IS no pin on it for eld
thats why its so strange

are you sure it's a JDM ECU?
there are a few other DMs whose ECUs are the same size but do have ELDs.
There may also be some JDMs that have it. Honda does odd things at the beginning and end of part/gen cycles.

the numbers following the P30 will tell you exactly what it is.
